Question CD6 in an Expedition with MACH????

I have seen several posts on the CD6 system fitting into an F150
with a little plastic trimming, and I know that would apply to my
Expedition, but what about working with my MACH system? I know that F150's don't come with subs, so the CD6 should work,
according to numerous posts. I haven't found any posts/members
who have installed the CD6 in an Expedition with the stock MACH/sub system.

Any concrete evidence and pictures???

Any pictures of other head units? I hate the thought of putting a single din unit in a double din opening.....

Thanks!!!

I assume by the MACH system you mean the one with the sub in the back. In that case, you'll need to find a CD-6 unit from an Explorer that also had the sub in the back. The earlier CD6 post listed the part number for the radio you DON'T want, so look for one that has a different part number than those posts mentioned.

I think you might run into trouble. And this is from the research I've done but I can't guarantee that its right. The "mach" system in the explorers and mustangs have the cd-6 unit you would need (since it has the outputs to the sub, etc.) but you would have a heck of a time getting it to fit in the dash because those units are not spring-loaded like the f-150's, they are actually hard-mounted. At least as best as I can tell.
