Advice Needed

The standard radio fitted to my 02 S'crew will tune only in 'blocks' of 10 in the AM band, i.e from 920 to 930. Most transmissions here in the UK are 'in between' such as 693 and 909, so in the AM band, the reception is dire. Can I mod' the radio, or should I throw it in the canal?
Thanx..Hughie

all the radios here are like that so you are probably best off purchasing an aftermarket one there

Hughie,

Actually, read the manual, somewhere in it it explains how to change the receptions frequency "steps" for using in countries other than US.

thanks for your reply, but I have read the print off the manual, and there are no such instructions. Perhaps this was an alternative model radio, or an earlier model year 150?
If you know a procedure, or where I can find one I would appreciate your help. The radio is the standard unit with single cd fitted to the Supercrew XLT.
Thanks
Hughie
