DVD/Radio "dual mode" question
DVD/Radio "dual mode" question
I have a 2004 F-150 with the factory DVD player on the rail system for backseat passengers. Sometime back (when my kids were younger) I remember pressing "2" + "4" on the AM/FM/6CD player and I could toggle from "single mode" to "dual mode" allow my sons to listen to a DVD on their headphones while the wife and I listened to the radio. Now I have a grandson and would like to do the same. However, I have only gotten this to work a couple of times. More times than not, pressing 2 and 4 plays the radio through the speakers AND the headphones at the same time or even worse, plays the radio through my grandson's headphones while we listen to "Curious George" over the speakers. I am hoping someone can help me remember the button sequence to get this in the right mode. Thanks!
Put the DVD in, the sound will play throughout the truck, hit 2 and 4 at the same time, shortly after hit AM FM and your set. The kids have sound through headphones and you'll have ipod or stereo or cd whatever in the front.
