I learned a new neat trick today while trying to figure out how to install a public safety scanner in my new 2011 Ford F150 super crew Lariat , It has a floor console with normal radio system. I ended up installing the scanner inside the console under the arm rest , then noticed the aux ( like the earphone jack next to the sync system USB ....So I pulled the panels near it and pushed the aux jack behind the panels and ran a aux jack plug from the scanner to the jack and then hide it behind all the panels. ALL i do now it touch the AUX button on the radio system and the scanner comes thru the speakers it the truck. This should work with CB's or any other device with a AUX plug.

It almost looks like a professional install , ha ha !
