I am having a problem with my subs thumping when i turn the power on to the stereo. As soon as i turn it on the subs go thump thump thump like fast and then the sub and amp shuts down but if i turn the truck off then on again it resets but then does it again. Whats should i look at first?

 

is it connected to a factory radio or aftermarket radio

 

Aftermarket stereo and after about 3 hrs of work i figured it out to be the RCA outputs on the deck.
