1997 F150 regular cab - audio system install

Hi all, I'm new to this forum.

I'm planning a total audio system install on my 1997 Ford F150 regular cab. I have all the components and I'm just trying to figure out what's the best order to install everything.

This is my first car audio install, and I hope I don't make any mistakes but bet I will. I'll be going slow, and I don't think there's any way I'll get this finished in one weekend.

Here's what I'm installing:

-head unit: Alpine CDA-105
-speaker amp: eD NINe.4
-sub amp: eD NINe.1
-component speakers: Hybrid Audio C51-2 (front only, I'm planning to just unhook the rear speakers)
-sub: eD e5.10
-sub enclosure: eD custom sealed enclosure, sub speaker on the angled face
-deadening material: eDead v3

I've got all my wiring, fuses, etc (I hope). I'll be running a power wire from the battery to a distribution block, and power wire to each amp and grounds from the amps probably to a seat bolt.

I'm going to try to fit the sub, amps, and block behind the bench seat. The sub enclosure is fairly small (about 14" wide, 12" tall and angled from 9.5" to 6.5" deep if I remember correctly). The NINe.1 is not small, but the NINe.4 is not too bad.

I'm going to paint on the eDead before any wiring and speakers in the door. Other than that, I'm not sure what order to go in.

Any thoughts on the order I should do everything?

Or any other suggestions before I start?

Thanks!

While you have the interior out doing the edead, run all your wires. Id then install the headunit. Door speakers and amp for those, then reinstall the front interior. Then mount the subs amp and do subs.

Thanks!

I was only planning on painting eDead in the doors and the back wall behind the sub. I'd like to avoid removing the seat if possible.

Will it make a huge difference if I paint the floor? If so, how difficult is it to remove the bench seat?
