I'm thinking this may be a fun project down the line.
1a) I built a case using scrap metal I had around work and mounted my mobo and everything to in, then used the 4 screw holes that the original radio came in to mount it.
1b) Yes. I lasered the piece you can see in the photo out of ABS and then again out of this adhesive material we have to give it a better look. Stuck the adhesive to the ABS, mounted it to the screen and voila.

2) Right now, nothing. My original plan was to use my phone but at the time I had a Nokia and it didn't have a data plan. Since installing I got a Galaxy S but Android wasn't supported in the phone software I have. I think it is now but I haven't bothered to yank out the PC yet. Maybe in the spring, there's lots of new goodies I can add since last year.

Awesome, I just like being able to have control over everything instead of just buying an off the shelf touch screen headunit.

How did you wire it up to run with your current audio components such as door speakers, fm antenna, and other items of the such?

Very cool PC, i like the fit and finish on it. A lot of the really cool high end built ones dont have that final "finished" look to them once in the vehicle.
Yours is very nicely finished. Awesome job. The useless cubby under the ash tray/cup holder would be a great spot for a few disc drives and a row of USB ports.

How quick is your GPS? Its been a while since I been on the forum, but last i looked many of the GPS softwares were running just a bit slow.

I would love to build myself one but i have way too many projects and things on my plate right now its not even funny.
