The same thing is going on in my 01. I have tried everything, the cleaner disk, other cds, and they just dont seem to always play. I can get one to play sometimes for a while but then it just goes to bad disk again.

Yeah, you can. they have little fins on them that will clean the laser eye. Sounds like the innerds are going bad. Time to buy a new radio. Search craigslist in your area, im sure you can find something cheap.

So today i was still trying to clean the laser with the CD Cleaner, then i went and bought the CD Removal items to clean it myself, during the time i put the 2 tools in to remove the player, the CD Inside which was the cleaner started working

then i restarted my truck to make sure and it immediatly read "Bad Disc" still this is happening

now i can't ge tthe removal tools out of the truck so they are stuck inside my CD player, i have tried to remove it but it seems stuck....i can barely jiggle the player itself

Suggestions?

What are the removal tools? How big? they should just come out Im thinking. If not you might have to take it apart...

The Removal tools are 2 large U shaped items, they stick into the : : sides of my CD player, i have both in currently, i have tried to skake it a bit, move it around, lift it up, i just don't want to completely mess up my CD player

The tools themselves are approx 3-4 inches total

Push em back in fairly hard, they should kinda 'click', then try to remove.

Well if you cant wiggle it out, then I would say take out the cd player and open it up and see if you can do it that way.
