The stock speakers on my 97 are pretty much blown, and i want to get new ones. nothing crazy, im not looking for crazy bass or super loud sound, i just want some good speakers that will have overall good sound and quality, and wont sound like there farting everytime a bass line hits. any suggestions? companies or websites? also, would i need to get an amp? thanks!

 

Do you have the factory head unit? What is your price range? You don't have to get an amp, but it will make a considerable difference.

If you're not going to amp, look for 6 1/2" or 6"x8" components with sensitivity of 90 db or more.
