Here is how I have mine mounted the only problem I have is I cant use the power point until I move the cb down a 1/2 inch.

I have mine hardwired to the battery for clean power and grounded of course. I had a single din headunit install kit that I took a drimmel to and cut out the little storage compartment:



Once that is cut out there is a big open cavity that the cb can fit in but there is no support so it will sag in the rear. I went to my local hardware store and got a medium size bookshelf bracket. When you are looking into the cavity you will see a metal bracket to your left that I bolted the "L" bookshelf bracket to so when the cb slides in it has some support.

That's about it.

did you have to widen the front any to make the cb fit?
