Hello everyone and Happy New Year! This is my first posting on here and I hope I can get some help. I just purchased a 2010 STX and starting to do several upgrades, coming along really good.

I noticed on the head unit that there is a phone button (assume it is for Bluetooth) and was wanting to know if anyone knew how to connect it? I have already added Sirius and Ipod interface as well as a Gentex auto dimming mirror, so self installation is not a problem for me, just tired of doing endless internet searches. Thanks, Ricky

 

That phont button will only control phone functions on the sync radios.

 

Thanks Sundevil but I have already looked into this and Ford "claims" that is not for the Sync. It is strictly a Bluetooth for cell phone whereas Sync controls everything in the car. This phone button is on the face of my stereo and supposedly there is a harness and adapter you can buy to activate the Bluetooth. That is the problem with getting a 2010 so early is that most the upgrades aren't available. Thanks again for your response and if you find anything else out please let me know.
