"Protecto wrap" sound dampening

So I stoped by one of the many shops I sell parts to and they had some of it laying around. According to them it's the new material Sony is using in their new building for sound dampening. So guess who's gonna put it on his car . . . . . Anyone heard of this product????

I see it everyday. We use it when installing windows, doors, etc. in the construction or remodel of a home. It's available at Menards,Home depot and Lowes.Never thought to use it on my truck.
