Not anybody that I would trust. I'm fairly experienced with electronics. I've completely re-wired two boats (motor included on one) and they haven't burned to the ground. My buddy helped me install this... this was his 4th Code alarm system on a Ford truck. And as I said earlier, we had KC's directions.

Good luck in figuring it out then.

Right, I realize that Ford changes wire colors and such, but with the help of a multi-meter, Travis's instructions, and the Code book, it was installed correctly the first time... Everything worked perfect, til the standard Code SRT-9000 problems set in.

The incorrect TX/out of range problem is an internal problem to the unit... Which was the failure to #1 and 2... #3 occasionally does it, but it at least kinda works.

If they are all the same model, how do they all of the sudden need to see a positive trigger instead of negative trigger?

Beats me, but I've tried wiring it both ways and it doesn't work. Even confirmed the wiring change with Code.

I've got a SRT9000 as well and I've had constant problems with it. I've shipped off three or so remotes to Travis to get fixed or replaced. This summer I had another jut quit working on me and I don't know what to do at this point. I really really need an alarm system but I don't want to spend the cash on a new one and have it installed. I think I'm going to take it to a shop and see if they can figure out the problem.

Yeah, I'm starting to realize that NOTHING about Code is right...

Good luck... I've tried contacting the BBB, but since Code is providing new alarms/"fixing" my issue, they're not doing anything.

After looking around last night for awhile I'm beginning to think that me taking it to a shop and paying to see if they can fix it wouldn't be worth it because I will have more problems with it at some point. Now I'm kinda leaning on getting a Viper 5701. I can pick it up for 170ish and have it installed. Viper is so reliable I know I won't have any problems with it.

Edit: I just called the shops around here and one of the wants 350 for the Clifford 3.3x, which is the same thing as a Viper 5701. At that price it would be stupid for me to order one and take it someone for an install.

Im losing faith rapidly in anything audiovox. Id check your warranty and see what they say about a no lemon policy. Also find out why your model is no longer on the website. Id be rasing holy hell until I got my money back.
