In Dash GPS

I need some info please. I have a 2006 F-150 XLT Crew Cab. I would like to have a GPS system but not the suction cup style for your windsheild. If possible I would like to have an in-dash system but want to retain my 6-CD changer. I got a quick glimps a at GPS systen with a radio (and maybe cd) in Wal-Mart the other day. Does anybody have any information on such a set up?

Dex

I'm not aware of any nav system that has a built in 6-disc changer with the exception of the OEM nav. You can get an external changer for most any aftermarket setup if you don't mind going that route.

Yeah I don't know of one that has a changer that comes with it if its got GPS built in.

However, most, if not all, of the GPS units will play DVD's and MP3 DVD's as well as SD Cards as well.

I personally have one that is able to hold a 8gig SD card and have all my music on there is no need for a 6 disc changer for me anymore. I had the stock 6 disc and got rid of it quick in favor of the better deck w/ GPS.

I went with the JVC KW-NT1 for a bunch of reasons including that the face is detachable. Big plus in security for me.

I got it from a dealer friend here locally for just under $700 bucks and did the install myself.
