Question In need of some tech help...

I have a stock, premium stereo/cassette/CD changer control in my 2001 F-150 SuperCrew. I have a Kenwood KDC-C717, 10 disc changer that I would like to connect to it. Where can I find a part number for an adapter? Where can I get the adapter for the best price? Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure if the 2 are compatible, but check crutchfield or perfect interface. From what I have learned about Fords, you use theirs or you don't get a changer.

Cool

Your question does not give me enough detail to know which kind of "adapter" you are looking for, since there are two potential ways to hook up a changer to a factory radio.
1. Your Kenwood changer can be compatible with the factory radio if you use an FM modulator, which is plugged into with your antenna wire and then has an antenna wire that plugs into your radio. This little magic box will then create a low power fm radio signal to play the music from cds through your radio. You have the ability to listen to cds, but at a sound quality "only" comparable to FM radio. For most people, this is sufficient, especially if you are keeping the factory radio's level of amplification, factory speakers, etc. The FM modulator setup can be had at most stero shops in the area of $75...
2. There are some changers which can use an adapter that allows an aftermarket changer to operate just like the factory changer. This gives you digital signals ("cd quality")into the radio. For instance, an Alpine 6 disc changer will hook into most Honda changer-ready factory radios. Unfortunately, your Kenwood changer is not compatible with the Ford factory radio in this case. The changer compatible Ford radio in pickups and SCrews is set up for a 6 disc changer, and not only do they not make an adapter for that changer to Ford (that i know of), but you'd onlly be able to use 6 discs of the 10 disc capability.
So, long story short is that there are at least two answers to your question, depending on how you want to do it...
