adding tweeters
The only reason you would want separate tweeters would be to take out the front 6x8 and run the tweeters with a dedicated midrange driver.
Get a decent component set and mount that tweeter where you want it.
Lol this is hilarious, on our company forums last week there was a topic started about some new sony tweeters we are carrying. Some sales guy "former installer" went on this whole rant about how tweeters are pointless, yadda yadda yadda. So then these two MECP Masters step in and basically own him in a battle of knowledge...it was hilarious. Sorry for the side track...just made me laugh when I read this.

Then the kid trys to tell us that if you add a 4 ohm speaker to a factory amplified system that runs a 2 ohms, then the amplifier will see 3 ohms
and that would blow the factory amp. There was some other stuff that he said too, something like MECP master installers only being "book smart" and not actually being that great of installers
