The rocket scientists that are in charge of fixing the hot cd problem in my '01 SCrew determined the best way to fix it was adding a fan onto the back of the stereo.

Not only did they manage to scratch the faceplate of stereo during the 3-1/2 weeks they kept the radio, but the fan is noisy and does not allow me to listen to the radio at soft volumes with the key off. To top it all off, they seem to think it is not physically possible to put the radio where I told them to stick it (right up the wazoo!)

Thanks for allowing me to rant....what a bunch of pinheads. Needless to say, the Alpine went back in.
