Post CD Changer Doesnt Work

I tried putting the disk in different ways, but the radio displays a message that says Bad Disk. Help! Thanks.

Josh

Oh yeah, I have an 01 SuperCrew with 6 disk CD changer.

is the disk you are trying to use a burned cd? or is it bought. If it is a burned cd it might be because some stereos cannot read CD-R or CD-RW cds, most of the new aftermarket head units can read CD-R cds and some can read the rewritable CD-RW cds but I had the same problem and when I tried the same burnt cd on a CD-R instead of a CD-RW it worked.

If it is not a burnt cd you may have a problem with your cd player.

Also, if it's a CD-R or CD-RW, make sure the disk is closed. If the writing session wasn't closed, only CD-R or CD-RW player/writers can read it. I've done this by accident before... just pop it back in and close the session.

Cool

Its not a disk thing, it doesnt even work with regular CDs. I have tried copied CDs, original CDs, turning the CDs around, and placing them in different slots. Every time I get a Bad Disk msg.

Thanks,
Josh
