Just purchased my first Ford...2001 Super Crew 4x2 and was wondering what the "premium sound" package includes, or, changes over the standard four channel system.

I once saw the tech differences but it ain't much - a few watts and minor features. Major difference is single cd or changer. Most folks at this site would probably agree that aftermarket subwoofer and better tweeters would be the best bang for the buck. I was lazy and had "hi-fi buys" install a JL stealth subwoofer in the console. Separate tweeters coming soon.
