need help with DOOR PANELS!!!!
I have a 2000'F-150 regular cab with no power windos or locks. I've just purchased a pair of cerwin-vega stealth series ss-2683's for the doors. Does anyone know how to get the door panels off? I could probably pay someone to do it, but I'd like to save some money by doing it myself. Please help!!
Taken from my chilton's manual. Remove the triangle shaped panel on the front of the door(just pull off with hand). Remove window regulator handle by separating the handle cover from the handle and remove the handle retaining screw. Remove the handle and the spacer. Remove the handle retaining bolt cover(circular cover behind the handle to open the door). Remove the handle retaining bolt then remove the handle. Remove door pillar trim(pull off with hand also). Remove the trim clip under the door pillar and triangle shaped panel(push the small part of the clip in the pull it off. I broke one then I figured out how to get it off). Then lift the door panel up to get it off(nothing is attached to it).
