rear speakers in a reg cab
Yep,
You have to take the have to take the rear upper corner trim pieces off first. They are held in by spring clips, so pry out at the bottom and push up.
The lower corner trim panels are held in by plastic pop rivets. Carefully push the center button in on these without pushing the boutton out the back. If you do, you may not get it back. Pull the rivets out and the panels should come off.
While you're in there, you might want to put some sound deadener over the cab vents. I didn't when I intalled my speaker and wish I did. I notice the road noise more now that I have a better than stock system.
