Ok, here's the deal. I plan on buying an AQ2200 amp for the DD's. Some people have said that is too much power but I've talked to some guys that have ran a lot of digital designs and they said the power would be fine, just to watch the gains. If I have to,but I don't want to, I will take a step down to the AQ1200. Now, with me doing the big 3. What else would you guys suugest me do to my electrical? Upgrade bat? Upgrade bat and add additional battery? Upgrade battery and alt? Or should I just add a Kenetic to the back and add an isolator?

ok, I could just run an additional batt for my sub amp, then make another run of power from my front battery to my front stage amp. The only problem would be finding a place for the bigger battery. I know the 600 HC would fit behind the seat, but not any battery bigger than that. My 2 options would be to run 2 under the hood, or one under the hood, one in tool box. This is going to be some bs

u will figure it out. u only need one power wire from your main battery. u ran 0awg, so put that in a distro block, run 4 awg to ur component amp, then another to the isolator, then out the isolator add a fuse then to extra battery. run 4awg from battery to sub amp.

ok, that makes sense, and I want even thinking. If I decide to run 2 I will do just that. I'm thinking I am just going to go with the AQ1200 instead of 2200. The AQ1200 should be more than enough to run these 2 8's. I found a steal on the Kinetik 1800's so I will just get one of those to replace my factory battery.
Back when I ran my 0 ga, I did some of the big 3 with 4 awg. I just upgraded that 4 awg to 0awg and I'm going to run my alt to battery+ tomorrow. My extra inline fuse should be here then, and I'm not sure how big to go with the fuse. Should I take the truck to autozone to find out how many amps my alt puts out, or is there a suggested size fuse? I don't want to go too small, torch that thing, and then be stuck some where.

250 damn thats pricey. i could buy 4 750 cca batts for that price and mount them under the truck on the frame rail and have more power than could ever be used up.

if you have a stock alt it puts out about 135 amps cold at 2000 engine rpm ( if you have a 04-05 - 07-08 f150 so a 150 should do it just fine if you want to fuse it you know you dont have to huh?

the factory line has fuse links, so it makes sense to fuse the additional line
