Talking Display Color

I've been trying to negotiate the purchase of a Ford AM/FM/CD radio from a gentleman by e-mail.

What he has is this....a radio out of a '98 Ford Explorer with the part #F87F-18C815-CA.

I have a '98 F150 that I want to install it in. I have pictures of it, it will be plug compatible with my truck.

My question is this....since he has no way to power it up and check the color of the display, can anyone out there tell by the part# what it is. I'm looking for one with a blue disply.

Thanks.

JAG,
From what I have been able to find out, the 98 Explores Radio has Green!! You will need part # F77F-18C815-AB to have the Blue lights. I am right now buying a used one for my 98. But I had to find mine at a junk yard!!!

And do a search, someone will email you back if they have it.

I found the part # @ http://www.radiosandmore.com/

I am going to pay $200 for mine. Yes you can get it cheaper on ebay, but I just can't find the Blue light one!!!

Good luck!!

Crash
