I am building two separate 12" fiberglassed boxes. The speakon connectors are easy disconnects that can hold through anything (my 250lb *** was held up by one of these). Its a keyed disconnect made in a 2pole, 4pole and 8pole configuration. (I just needed the 2pole). And it will be to connect the female end, which I will mount into the box and then run under the seats (very easy) to the back of a storage compartment (under the amps false floor). This will allow my sister to take the subs out as she needs the rear of her vehicle to store her woman crap at college.

Oh and they are made by Neutrix. You can pick them up at PartsExpress.com, the total for all the parts was 32 dollars shipped.

Low, I realize this is your sister's vehicle, but what you charge someone to do what your doing on that Explorer? If ever I win the Powerball, I might have to take a drive to Slidell.

Thats only about 2 layers. I use fresh polyester resin, that may be your problem. But thats the darkest resin Ive ever used.

Prolly not that far of a drive....

But, it really depends on what needs to be done, how its wrapped, amount of materials used, time I spend on it, am I doing it for friends or for a shop, etc.

If all the work was for a shop, I wouldnt go anyless than 850 for the 3-ways. If it was for someone I knew, or a fellow F150'er (that wasnt annoying or pushy), etc. prolly about 350. The boxes each, shop-325, friend-110. Headrest TV's, shop - 150 per, friend 150 total... Etc. Custom amp racks, 75 shop+ (all depending on shape, design, etc.) 35+ friend.

3ways (shop) carpet - 850
vinyl - 925+ (depending on ease of vinyl)
paint - 925+ (depending on paint)
carbon - 1025+ (depending on style carbon)

It cost a lot to do that, especially when theres 0 bumps/dips. I had a great teacher that taught me how to do it right (Joe Padilla) and showed how minor things show. Plus, he ripped vinyl off a project once because he didnt like how I wrapped it. (I was irate).

Not bad. I was curious what something like that would run. Looks good. Please post the completed pics. I definitely want to see how it all turns out.

Definately will. I am using some products from MS to really dress some areas up. This is going to be clean. I ordered some factory matched paint to dress up some different pieces and parts.

Its been done for quite awhile now. I never got around to taking finals of it. I did have a RF3Sixty.2 put in and a friend of mine in CO wrapped the A-Pillars for me. I didnt do it because she had a job up there to get to as well as school. So he got it done. But I am heading to CO in a couple days and will try to get my hands around a camera.

The amps (almost done, still have to add plexi and lights. And also build the Xovers up to level with the amps. I will have the speaker wire run underneath.)

The amps can hide away under the factory panels

Ive been wanting to add and amp and sub to my Expy. That looks like a great spot for amps. But wouldn't they get too HOT! in there.
