Need Security System
Need Security System
So lately at school, there have been break ins in our parking garage. Two of them were of real close friends of mine and it got me thinking it might be time to get a security system plus get a remote unlock keypad.
Defiantly must have a glass break sensor, was thinking this

For the main system I was looking along something along the lines of these two,

Was looking for some input between these setups.

Just my opinion, but you may want to step it up to a remote paging alarm type system. An alarm or glass break sensor isn't going to scare away very many would be thieves.
How many times have you heard a car alarm going off and just kept on going about your business? They aren't going to stop many thieves.
However if you get one that alerts you on the keyfob that it has gone off, you stand a little better chance in my opinion of stopping them or at least scaring them away.
I travel a lot with my job and went with the Code SRT 9000 from KC Autosound. The paging feature works great. I actually was in a hotel last week, someone bumped the truck, it went off and I was out there in about 15 seconds after alerting me. Had I not had it and someone really was breaking in, I wouldn't have had a clue. I was inside the hotel and wouldn't have heard it.
In my opinion, a regular old run of the mill alarm isn't giong to do much at all. Just my preference though.
