Has anyone tried to install a Double DIN headunit in their F-150? I want to install either the Pioneer FH-P4400 or the HF-P8800... Has anyone had any luck??

It's possible. You just have to do some trim work on the inside to help the DD fit properly.

 

It's also very time consuming. Just make sure you don't over do it with cutting the plastic supports. I have two single din's and took me about 3 hours to get the hole right and to install the decks. Good luck.
