Question Accessory delay for radio?

By accident, I found out that my truck has an accessory delay for the power windows. You can roll your windows up and down after the key is turned off until your door is opened, for those that don't know. Has anyone traced the wire and spliced into it to run the radio? I know some gm's have this, but don't know why Ford didn't include the radio on this circuit.

Thanks.

NOT REAL SURE BUT I Belive Ford Has The Radio Delay in my 99 O/M it says that the radio will contine playing 10min after key has been removed or until door is opened. However I havent been able to get it to work, of course I dont have power windows.

F150Sven has posted the answer to his own question here

Hey I have a 99 F150 and have wondered why the radio would not keep playing for 10 mins. I was at the Ford dealer and seen a message that it was a misprint in the O/M and the 99's do not have this feature.

Cool

Do the power windows work after the key is removed? If so, you have the capability for radio delay, it just wasn't wired for it at the factory. My guess is the this was an oversight when the wiring harnesses were made, and they just left it out.

Hit the radio mod link in my signature for instructions on correcting this. It's fairly easy to do.
