Post Can I add a CD changer to my AM-FM-CASS?

I have an AM-FM-CASS and miss listening to my CD's. Do I need to purchase another receiver w/CD or does the present system allow for addition of a remote CD changer. TIA for any help or pointers.

Yeah you can add a CD Changer with an FM Modulator . all it take is connecting the antennae to the back of the modulator then connecting the modulator to the back of you radios antennae. then connect two wires one for power and one for ground and that should be all. then tune in to a particular station that the instruction would mention and your all set. I have one installed in my 97 F-150
and it is sweet.

Chemist,
If you like the crisp clean sound of a CD then you are NOT going to like the sound of FM Modulated CD. I had a FM modulator for a portable CD player and the sound was terrible, alot of interference and hiss. Went back to using the cassette adapter. Much better sound. Now I admit this was a portable unit. One of the built in units may be better but it is still transmitting the sound through the radio and airways and subject to noise, and a good groung is VERY IMPORTANT. If your current head unit does not have the CD button on it the you can not hard wire a CD changer into it. Hardwiring will always give you the best sound.
