If you know how much you need you can look on ebay for pre cut lengths. Otherwise just buy it by the foot from a local audio store.

memhpis im sure is decent wiring considering there products are pretty decent, 100 dollars seems a little high, the local stereo shop here wanted 70 dollars for the same kit

find the cheapest you can get....

i got 25 feet of 4 gauge for 25 bucks.... included all the wiring i needed.... sure the RCA's were cheap, i replaced them....

wire is wire... and no where near 100 bucks for only 20-30 feet....

the rca's ned to be good quality... no doubt there they carry your signal... the power wire just needs to be the proper size, quality doesn't matter much here...

No, wire is not wire. Many cheap brands 4awg is more like 7 or 8awg. They just have a thick casing.

Knukonceptz has good wire that's cheap.

in which case i heavily agree with you...

the size of the copper matters... make sure you get a true 4 awg wire then....

did not know they did that... guess i got lucky then... the 4 awg i bought was true 4 awg..

Exactly. True 4awg is rare. Many companies fool people by the size of the casing.

Back in the day i ordered a spool of 12awg for cheap, it came and it had fat casing and the actually wire was more like 16awg. I was PISSED.

I now only use Knukonceptz for speaker wire/RCAs and Kicker for power wire.

I think 0/1 is between .28 and .32 in dia. 4awg is about .2 in dia. I'll have to keep that in mind when I go get wire for my amps. Who woulda thunk that some one would want to screw you over on gauge size... heh
