Take a look at this
http://www.empeg.com
It's a 1 din MP3 car stereo, it varies in price, from 1000 to 2000 I believe and can store 1000s of songs, more if you get the better version. It's the first professional car-mp3-stereo I've seen. It's also removeable (obviously so you can go hook it up to your computer for music download), a nice little toy to go with Napster if you can afford it don't ya think?
I might save a pay check or two and ponder getting one

It's also stupid in my opinion. Why not just make one that can read the mp3 files off of a cd-rom. That way you should be able to play regular CDs as well as CD-ROMs with mp3 files. Also you know the only way that thing can hold that much is to have a built in internal hard disk, and if you are any kind of computer user at all you know how often they can fail. If it was a CD/CD-ROM based type machine all you would have to do would be to burn a new cd and you can buy blanks for under a buck now and a burner for under 200 bucks. Why pay $2000 for a device with this many potential problems. Hell, for $2000 bucks you could buy a laptop and hook it up to a stereo with auxilary inputs to play mp3 files, plus you could take it out and surf the web or do your taxes with it when not being used in the car.
