Post Alarm problem please help

Hi,
I installed a viper alarm system from circuit city 2 months ago on my 2000 ford f150xlt truck. Now suddenly the alarm does not work. I can open the power door locks with the remote and the lights will blink once for on and twice for off but the alarm won't work. It won't even chirp. Also I checked with the second remote unit if it was the battery but I think it is not that either. What could be causing this? Also does anyone know if circuit city will fix it free because the alarm has 1 year warranty but does that also covers installation from circuit city or they can refuse to fix it??
I am in PHoenix Arizona.
thanks in advance.
