Xshortboarderx,

Looks excellent, congratulations!

Roger Lemere, who is partners with the Webmaster here in the online store, The Digital Marketplace, does a *lot* of LCD screen installations, you should see his Expedition, it has 4 or more screens in it.

Obviously, we all want the details on what your installation costs were, how long, and tips you might want to share, etc. What signals are you sending it, VCR, DVD, etc. Spare us no details!!

Hey guys-sorry it took so long, i went on a road trip to "field test" my LCD.Anyway, thanks for all the compliments. The LCD is a 4" Sony monitor, which I got from a friend of mine who handles alot of these. I got it for $200, but they usually run anywhere from $250-$400 for the 4". As you can see the LCD wouldnt fit snugly inside my visor so i had to fabricate a housing for it. I tried everything-fiberglass, plastic, etc.-and finally settled on thin sheet metal. I mokded it into shape, then sanded it to perfection. then I used 3M adhesive spray to attach the matching fabric (a little tip that i got from the message board-I think it was "Big Red").
As far as inputs go, I am currently using a small vcr until i can find an affordable vcp or dvd. Any ideas?
Hiding all the wires was relatively easy-pulled off the moulding, and so on. I think I got most of it, but if you have any questions, just post 'em-and I'll respond. Thanks again.
Oh, and one more thing-I'm only 18-im sure some of the more experienced f150 owners out there can put these in too!
