Post Good Head unit 160 wats for a 98 F150

I have been looking at some head units for my truck and I notice some new ones on the market rated at 150 to 180 wats anybody had any experiance with these? Also some of these new units claim to have Fosgate tec.. Are they better? It might save on buying a ax amp?? Thanks for any info!!

Sounds fishy to me.
W/O a DCto DC converter you can only get so many watts from a +12v amp. http://www.eatel.net/~pbabin/elecdisc/caraudio.htm
