Ipod Question

I just got my truck and it has the Ipod plug in up on top of the dash. Will it allow me to change the songs and control it from my radio or steering wheel? I have not had much time to check it out yet.

There are option to control the ipod, see track info etc. via stock HU. Look on ebay.

Well of course it says not compatible with the navigation system. The ipod hook up is nice but where they put it is absolutely retarded. Up on top of the dash? Why not near the radio or below it where wires are not hanging down. Oh well, like you said good just to have one from the factory.
