IPOD Install with Audiophile

Ok, I've done several searches and no answers to my question. I have a 06 Lariat with Audiophile but NO Sirius Satellite. I want to use my IPOD or any other MP3 in my truck WITHOUT one of those FM modulator thingys. Is there an interface that plugs into the factory headunit without all the headaches I've been reading about?

My radio says MP3 on it, but how do I use it?

You can buy an Ipod adapter from CCity or Crutchfield. Its by USAspec. The only thing is you cannot have the 6CD changer. And the MP3 is CD only.

Have you looked at the Adapter from Brandmotion? Check out their website or call them. Works very nicely with the '06 radios (CDR, CD6 & SIRIUS) & iPod . . .

If your radio has an aux button on it then your good, should be on the right side.

awsome, it does have the aux button. its the button i have to push when i hook my ipod to that hole in the top of the dash.

one more question, a couple of them say good for 04-06 trucks. is my 07 different or is their ad just behind in the times? in other words, if it says for 04-06 will it work on my 07?

JCSXJ -

You can look on the myFordFreestyle.com forum for some folks who have the adapter for their factory navigation radios. Search under "iPod".

OK I don't have a hole on the top of my dash but I do have an aux button on the radio. ('04 SCREW FX4) Anyone know or have a thread that shows how to hook up an ipod to that aux button?
