hey whats going on, im brand new to posting in the forums but have been around for a while just reading posts and getting tips for my truck. I have a problem though, my radio wont turn on. I just replaced my stock battery today with a optima yellow top and was 95% sure that was my problem since the battery hasnt been changed since 2001 when i first got my truck but that wasnt it. I had my system since july 05' and it was working well until recently when my old battery was failing on me hence the reason why i put in the optima today. I checked all the fuses in both of my amps, the fuses connected to my battery and even the fuse connected to my stereo deck...none of them were blown. Wiring is to the tee and everything is connected correctly. I plan to take it to a stereo shop tomorrow to see if they can help me out but maybe someone here can point me in the right direction as far as fixing this little problem. By the way if its any help my truck is a 01' f-150 supercrew. Its running on two 10' jl audio w6, dhd ntx1900 amp for the subs, and a audiobahn 1004 dub mag audio amp for the mids and highs, the deck is a kenwood kdc-519

 

this guy i know has a chevy silverado and his radio went out and then a few days later his battery went dead then he bought a new battery annd it came back on


should have caught me a couple of months ago i had a space radio for an 06
