Stock Changer Location?

Hey

I have made the jump over to Ford the other day, from what I will not say haha. The sticker on the truck said it has a CD changer, but I cannot find it! its a 2000 XLT extended cab, I read the book and it said in the center console, now is that mean in the compartment were the change holder and cd/ tape slots are?

Thanks.

Look in the rear of the cab. If you were sitting behind the drivers seat, it might be on your left under the window beside the seat. I have one there on my '98 , and have seen pictures or them there on others. Look at the product review link @ the top of the page , and you can see photos of it by the member who did the rear seat lift . Hope this helps!

I think its in the center console only if you have the bucket seats. My buudys Screw has the cd changer in the center console and its just right there when you open the console; cant miss it.

Its not under the seat is it? Front or back...I have no idea.

if it says its in the center console then its inside the console when you open the top door. as soon as the top door is opened you should see a slider door. push that asside and theres the changer cartridge.

I guess I just don't have one, when I push the CD botton, the HU flashes "NO CDDJ" I am taking that as no changer.
