The cartridge that hold the cd will not eject...anybody know any tricks?

 

i`v seen some postings...youll have to do a search...some take it out to fix it,cd is off track ...some have tried turning power on while holding eject button,,,all sorts of things...funny thing is,i havent fixed mine yet,been 2 months...lol .....been looking at puting dvd/lcd in its place

 

The CD's play fine just will not eject what is in there!!! ARG!!

 

It is quite possible the CD tray is jammed, maybe by a cd or something, did you have it loaded with cds? I dont really know any other way to attemp to fix it other thank try taking it apart, or going to your local Ford dealer and have them inspect it out. I dont have the 6 disk in my Supercrew but trays are constantly jamming in CD changers of most sterio systems ( not just car related )
