Anyone tried the Harmon-Kardon iPod Drive + Play
Saw and ad at http://www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/default.aspx and was wondering if anyone hs seen the unit and installed it?
They show a direct connect option to the CD changer interface. How would that work with the 2006 Audiophile head-unit ??

I have this and love it. The install into the truck is simple as long as you already have the PIE aux input box. I will try to get some pictures of my install so you can see what I did. Basically I installed the display on the windshield next to the rear view mirror, the control pod I installed on the center console, IPOD is in the storage box in the center console. There are some drawbacks, like not all the menu functions of the control pod are exactly the same as the IPOD, but this is much better that just using the PIE box and having to do all the IPOD controls on the IPOD itself. Hope this helps and I will get some picture and put in my galllery.

Chris--
THanks for the updates. None of the retailers in this one-horse town have them yet so I'm relying on your observations.
I must be "forum challenged"--can't figure out how to find your gallery and pics. Also looked at the PIE site and they aren't real clear about thier stuff---the decriptions are to cryptic I think.
Also--missed your earlier post about how to use the MUTE function with my hard-wired cellphone hookup.
Thanks for the help.
