Is there anyone out there in Ford land that can pull this one off? I have a 2003 Lightning with an Alpine head unit installed. I would like to be able to change the channels on the head unit with the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. I never use the cruise and I always change the channel on my radio. Anybody?

Ok...Here we go... You first have to buy the alpine interface that attaches to the steering wheel. You must also make sure that unit is compatable with you HU. You then have to open your cruise controls to access the wires, and open the alpine module to access those wires. YOu can then select which wires you want running to which buttons. This may involve some soldering to lengthen the wires on the alpine module that formerly held the buttons.

Why dont you just use the remote? This would be 1000x easier.
