Can you mount amps behind seat on 04 supercrew?

Hey there guys.

I'm going to redo my stereo system and had a question. Can you mount amps to the rear wall behind the seat on a 2004 supercrew?

I'm looking at going with the LMI 2.5" seat lift kit. So i can get a box that will hold two 12" subs. i currently have on JLw6v2 and i want to add another. Also, i saw on another forum, some guys was going to buy this box http://www.topedgeonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=7367 for his supercrew. I see that it says for extened cabs. Are they pretty much the same? If not does anyone know where i can get a box like this for the screw that will hold 2 12" jlw6v2s? Thanks alot for your time and help!

there are a couple people who have mounted an amp behind the seats, but im pretty sure it was a reaaaallly tight fit..plus pushing a couple nice 12's that amps gonna need some air movement around it... personally, id try to find a more accessible mounting area...
good luck

I have a SCAB and behind the seat is plenty of room for my amps. About 3.5" at the bottom and 2.5" at the midpoint. There was room for Epicenter and caps and all that. As far as raising the seat, if you raise the bottom, what about the back? Does the kit you talk about also do that? Isn't there a shoulder harness issue at the top of the seat? I would really like to increase the size of my boxes for my subs...

Hey 7582, where can you find this seat lift kit at? I'm having a problem finding a sub box that'll mount my Diamond 10" sub (500W) and I'm sure I'll probably need to lift the seat sooner or later.
