That darn icechest!

Well i told you guys i was putting a pyramid amp into that icechest of mine, well turns out the dude off ebay was a liar and it didnt ship until today when he said it would be here thur or fri of last week. After not recieving a tracking number on wed. I knew it wasnt going to be here so I went to a local shop CAR TEK and picked me up a Clarion 200 watt 2 channel amp. Man my ice chest sounded so good floating down the river. Everyone was asking about it. I will try to post pictures asap. We only had one close call with it dumping into the river when my Brother-in-law had 1 to many and go stuck on a log but luckily he had enough sence to save the icechest while he was getting sucked under, It was hilarious he was pretty much drowning saving that darn icechest. Everything turned out fine though and we had a fun weekend. O yea i used a AC delco car battery i found under my carport that my brother took out of some dudes car and it didnt run out of juice ounce. The icechest played continuously down the river and up at camp for well over 6 hours, then it was time for bed and we put it on the charger and it was ready to go in the morning. I was stoked!

Not to sound like your grandma here, but my friends did sort of the same thing you talked about, tying the icechest inbetween 2 innertubes with rope, and she actually did drown by getting sucked under a log and her feet getting caught in the rope. The current held her under... That is a very bad idea, cool in theory, but dangerous. I'm not saying don't have fun, just be careful.
