Headrest monitor install

Thought this might be helpful to those who would rather put their own monitor in, and save some cash. Looks pretty straight forward and easy, but I think when the time comes, I will grab one from the boneyard to guinea pig on.

You know dz, I've wanted to add video to my screw for a long time now, but was afraid of some clown butchering my roof installing a drop-down, or the cost--which I was quoted $1500 for an under the seat DVD player and two 5 inch monitors in the headrests.

There are so many mods I want to do, this one, cool as it is, falls faaaaar back from the beginning of the importance list. It too shall have it's day. Just not soon.

Should be fun .

The only problem is there is no metal plate inside the HR to screw the mounting sheild into on the 04-05 F150s. You will have to glue them in.

The hardest part of installing the monitors for me since there are no straight lines was getting the dead center of the headrest and keeping everything level....then doing the other HR the exact same way so they will match.
