Anyone have problems with their FM antenna signal? I have an aftermarket head unit installed and lost my FM signal one day. I can get AM stations fine, but only pull static on the FM bands. I can't even get it to pick up my FM modulator signal from my mp3 player...anyone had issues with this? Next step is to remove the aftermarket receive and try the factory unit...Any help is appreciated.

Sure it didnt come unplugged from the back of the HU?

 

Definitely check the plug first and foremost, then try the factory deck.

If FM still doesn't come in, then you could possibly have a short in the antenna wire, or it could be cut completely.

If the FM does work, then the tuner in your aftemarket head unit could be bad, which would require replacement or repair.

Ive checked the connection to the back of the HU...it appears to be fine. Next weekend, Im trying the factory deck out. If that doesnt work, Im sure you guys will be hearing back from me.
