Subs and regular cab

Anyone have a regular cab and come up with some clever space-saving designs for sub boxes?

Not really interested in doing this myself right now, just gathering some info for the future. Plus looking at pics is always fun :P

Custom made box to fit the sub with its 6" of mounting depth and .7 cubic feet of air space. The bonus is that I can put my seat all the way back without the woofer touching the back of my seat.

If u are not going to make it, crutchfield has mtx box's that are nice but I think they are 250 and hold two 10's. I'm not sure if that answers your question because they do take up the whole length, but I believe they're thin.

I didn't make this box. It was custom made by a stereo who send these plans to a box maker that makes them with computers. Best part is that it only cost me 45$

Hey guys:

Just want to help clarify a couple of things. The MTX subs that you are thinking of for $250 come with the 10's. They sound pretty good for your everyday cruise but if you are actually looking to hurt your spine or annoy your neighbors you have to go with 12's.

Now for my question, as I am new to site I wanted to show of my box (for two 12"s) and don't know where I uplink photos of it. I have my seat one click from fully back and the subs still don't hit.
I gotta say I'm loving being able to swap info with other ford nuts across the land.

whoopsie

Oh yeah forgot to mention.

If anyone wants those MTX custom box/speakers. They are far cheaper on ebay.com

And also if you want to go with a decent looking, good performing and dirt cheap amp. Combine the Lanzar Vibe series amp with the box/speaker set for a good price and great thump for something that any novice should be able to do on a saturday afternoon.

I just installed one in a customer's 99' and it looked fantastic.
