Sounds easy enough, thanks and btw sweet setup! Those screens fit in the headrest just right. This would be my first time to install a radio myself, saying that I have 1 more question. When I unscrew those 4 screws, take out the factory HU and put the aftermarket HU in, is it anything more complicated than just plugging in a harness? (no screen just am/fm cd player)

You do realize you will have to hard wire the stereo's wiring harness into an adapter that will plug into your harness? Its very easy to do and the adapeter comes with very detailed directions. Other than that its just a straigh unplug and plug up install.

All in all, how much money and how many hours did you spend on this install? Also, is there enough ventilation behind the back seat for the amps, or could they heat up the seat back (possible fire hazard)?

Looks very nice!! One question. How do those screens mount to the head rest? Not looking to put any because my truck is not our family mover, just very curious as to how they stay in place. I don't need detailed instructions just screw, glue, etc.

I have about $2250 in the system...I took my time and shopped around and found the very best prices. Most of it came off Ebay and I got it for about half the Crutchfield price. Plus doing the install myself saved a ton of money. Time wise I have about 4 days in the install.
There is plenty of room behind the seat....the seat back is about 3.5in off the amp at the bottom and about 2in off at the top. So there is no chance of it catching the seat on fire.

Most headrests have a metal plate inside them. In that case the shroud screws into that and is held inplace. Unfortunatly our headrest don't have anything in them...just foam. So I had to glue mine in with epoxy. They are in there very securly but unfortunatly you can't take them back out very easily (just the shroud....the monitors can come out)

Actually what you do is cut out the foam and set the shroud down in it...it does look like its pulled down but its not really its just setting in there.
