i have a 97 f-150 and am installing a pioneer cd player / receiver that says it is for vehicles w/ negative grounding, and has a pigtail w/ eyelet for grounding to a chassis ground. what is the difference between negative grounding and positive grounding? and what is my truck?
my last cd player was blaupunkt that had ground lead into factory harness, any input???

Your truck is a negative ground.

As for the ground, you can either find a place to ground it, or attatch the the factory harness. The latter would be simplest
