I have done some searches here - and have not come up with an answer - a few have tried it - but no one saying YES or NO.

I tried to burn one, but it would not play - just spit it back out.

I think the units that play MP3 actually have a "MP3" logo on the radio near the cd slot.

 

Mine won't.

When I saw "Audiophile" on the window sticker, I thought I was set! But I got it home, stuck in an MP3 disc and the HU said "CD-ROM" on the display and spit it back out. I thought to myself, "what the hell?" and tried it again. No luck. So then, I read the owner's manual. It has two entries for Audiophile systems. One says "Audiophile System 6-Disc Changer" and the other says "Audiophile System 6-Disc Changer / MP3 (Late Availability)"

Guess which one the current '05 models have?

That is exactly what happened to me - I thought maybe I had burned the disc wrong or something.

On a related note - does the audiophile system come prewired for the ford overhead dvd player? or does it need to have new wires run?
