Steering Wheel controls

Has anyone tried installing the steering wheel control module on their own? I am trying to find out how difficult it is to install. Tweeter is charging $100 for the module and $100 to install it. Something about that dosen't sit with me. If it is truley that hard I will pay the money, but I am not about to let anyone take me for a ride. I've never put one in before so any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks!

I had the PAC SWI-X Universal Steering Wheel Audio Interface installed in my truck for $47.00 Canadian. It took them less than an hour to install. I did not know how to put it in myself, but the installer said (for him) it was easy. $100.00 sounds like a bit to much for your install, but then again, I guess it depends on your installer and the type of unit you bought. I might check around and see if someone else would install it for less.

I installed the PAC SWI-X myself and it was quite easy to install. There are only a few wiring connections to make and the instructions are easy to follow. Personally, I wouldn't pay the $100 to have it installed. The prices seems to me to be a bit high.
