Pioneer Remote Control Question

I recently traded my 2001 King Ranch which had a Pioneer DEH-7400 in it.

I kept the remote.

Does this thing have any value? Is each remote programmed with a unique signal? Could someone else reuse this remote (aka: sell it on ebay)?

Thanks for the help!

RP

Im sure you could sell it on ebay. I know that remotes for the Alpine stereos will work with any head unit that is remote ready. A buddy of mine changed his head unit and gave me his old remote and it works just fine.

No, they are not unique to each receiver. That remote will work with other ones like it. I would just throw it on EBay, and maybe get a couple bucks for it!

Wow, you sold the KR huh. What did you get to take its place?

As for the remote, not sure, but you can sell anything on ebay.
